How Asset Managers are Managing the Work From Home Environment
It’s always been hard for asset managers to keep track of hardware. And now, with everyone working from home, the problem is an urgent one.
How do you manage hardware when they are not sure what employees have?
Did they take monitors, keyboards, or printers?
What needs to be replaced when people return?
Do they have computers lost in a refresh?
What should be returned?
Without knowing what they have, costs bloat, logistics are complicated, and control is impossible.
Some asset managers have chosen to ignore it and hopefully it will take care of itself. Others have spreadsheets and email that they are trying to manage it manually.
These are not solutions.
It is possible to have accurate information and automate it at the same time. AMI CEO and founder, Tom Watson will explain how asset managers are making the most of a difficult situation.
