When considering if ULA renewal is a viable option, it is important to determine your future license requirements. For example, if you transition from on premises deployments to a (public) cloud provider like Amazon EC2 or Microsoft Azure, there will be a period of time in which there will be an increased license requirement. During the transition period, Oracle requires you to license each (virtual) server on which the Oracle programs are installed and/or running. So what do you do?
