For hardware biggest thing customers achieve is getting rid of old unused hardware scattered around the environment, and with software removal saving on license renewals. going forward, some save big by reusing available inventory however that is not feasible for everyone due to company policies or legislative requirements (e.g., Brazil)

I’m hoping that ITAM will give me the knowledge to properly reach a JIT approach to reduce on hand inventory and overordering and help me with streamlining our asset recovery efforts, especially with our WFH co-workers, to reduce the amount of lost or stolen hardware in those areas.
