Keep to standard configs and assess the need on a per case basis. Be the true gate keeper as if the money was yours. Unfortunately some end-users and departments try their luck. Then we have to kindly decline as “A nice to have”, we are saving quite a lot from just applying such stringent processes.
The Reuse/Repurpose process also saves the organisation some of the costs, and ensures low iinventory levels.
