Communication is important because you need to be able to get your point across as well as listen to others. Education is important because you need to know the product so you can determine if it is what is needed for your current environment.
Asset Identification Management because knowing what you have and what you need help with the growth of your business.
Getting equipment from one building to another…there should be an asset location in each large building with an asset person to monitor.
Communication between the different teams that have the same goal. That goal is to get the area up and functioning in a timely manner and the customer has everything they need to function properly.
Examples: desktop team with the network team, communicating with the application analyst to make sure the computer has the applications the user is needing, working with management to ensure the equipment ordered is what the user is needing, work with the user to make sure they understand how to use the equipmentPart of the negotiations is coming up with a plan and showing how I will implement it. Show how it will improve the situation.
Currently inventorying equipment that is placed on the floor when it is deployed. In the future, learning new systems for keeping track of the inventory and teaching others the system.
IS- Things happening now like monitoring equipment every now and then.
SHOULD- Things that need to happen like monitoring all equipment all the time.
