ParticipantThe Acquisition Manager acts as a gatekeeper in the sense that they control and manage the process of acquiring new products, services, or assets for a company. They are responsible for evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that the company gets the best value for its investments. The can look at Return on Investment, Total Cost Ownership, and Payback Period among others.

Participantproper electronic waste recycling, repurposing components of hardware, cleaning and wiping products for reuse/distribution, proper disposal process for hardware that can’t be recycled/repurposed/redistributed.

ParticipantYes – there’s proper disposal for physical and virtual/electronic documentation and information, as well as physical device management and resets on mobile devices and laptops/ computers / discs, etc.

Participantincrease of savings 15-20% due to BYOD to work, or reallocation / redistributing phones or using the surplus of phones potentially in storage, in addition to having phone packages/purchase plans through vendors / mobile device providers.

ParticipantDue to on/off boarding processes and market turns / uncertainties it would be nice to remain consistent with minor increase in updating hardware requirements (repurposing, reallocating of phones/laptops, etc.) but also saving by switching to more cloud / virtual environments.

ParticipantFoundationally, I would choose; Program, Policy, and Documentation. Program shows accountability and sets expectations for governance, objectives, scope, Policy is setting the expectations of the who, what, why, and Documentation outlines the how/process/tasks that need to be performed to satisfy the program/policy requirements. I do understand why communication and education is there – to notify and inform stakeholders of the program existence and their compliance requirements with the policy.

ParticipantI volunteer as a mentor, on an education commission committee, I subscribe to magazines and websites, maintain designations that require me to obtain continued education credits by; taking new courses, attending annual general meetings, participating in webinars, conferences, writing articles, etc.
