Using our online tools, should beable to see what has not been used and either realicate those devices or turn off their services.
I’m not sure. we already have a lifecycle period depending on what the item is. We should be able to see what items that have been purchase but not been put into production and then realicating those to areas that need newer equipment.
By keeping track of licenses used, we may be able to reduce the number of licenses or complete programs not being used at all.
To accretly track assets from time of proposal to the time of disposition, weather it’s hardware or software through out our enterprize.
Have has these in the past for local lan admins. Will need to work on one for ITAM program. Although some of us have speciality areas already and have folks to back them up. In general, we are all learning the whole processes.
I take the lead to help others on the team when they are unsure of what they are doing or with what’s going on. Beyound that, not a whole lot. Had planned on going to the yearly conference, but budget wasn’t approved and thus travel was disapproved.
Think we would average out in the middle. We do well in some areas and not so well in others which I would thinks most would do.
Work with my team to implement best practices, to push for certificaiton of our team, to follow what we know is right.
