Being a gatekeeper, the acquisition manager helps protect the company from harmful deals while facilitating the identification and purchase of IT Assets. They proceed further and in-depth with the evaluation process first by setting the acquisition standards.

If it doesn’t meet the needs, requirements and standards, the acquisition manager doesn’t approve and stop the acquisition.

Also have an important role of negotiating contracts. This is seomthing I do alot within my role.
