The Acquisition Manager acts as the gatekeeper for all IT acquisitions. This role entails a wide range of responsibilities that include acquiring IT goods and services for the organization, ensuring that all requested assets meet organizational needs, requirements, and standards, as well as meeting the needs of the stakeholder. The Acquisition Manager is also responsible for determining that requested assets are not in inventory before initiating acquisition.
