    We use the Serial number as our tags id like to switch to scanable tags

    Scannable bar codes that are tied to the device’s serial number, our org’s name, and the MAC address.

    Our assets are tagged with an 8-character code. The first 2 characters are alphabets and then 6 digits

    Our Current tags are very basic. They only have an asset number.
