    Off the top of my head…Open communication, surround yourself with capable independent people who are leaders in their skill sets and may be smarter than you, do not be concerned with who gets credit, focus on being problem solvers and innovators.

    My best leadership advice is become a good communicator. Be able to listen and receive feedback/constructive criticism, but also be able to speak up when needed as well as provide constructive criticism. Also, learning how to let an employee work through a project in their own way to get to the desired end result. Understanding that someone may not do something how you would do it, but if it gets the desired end result and the work product is up to standards then everything is fine.
