Current thinking is for an expectation of a 10 – 25% saving attributed to software in the first year.

It would be nice to see 10-15% for the year through unnecessary subscriptions, repurposed licenses, in-house program development, or other means.

We are less focused on software at the moment, but eventually we may be able to consolidate license usage. The primary software benefit though will be through reducing redundant programs and providing a standard software package that is more easily supported and by leveraging the number of users to provide additional services.

Currently there is a team tasked with negotiations. I hope to explore additional resources to tap into a greater savings opportunity

I’d like continuous discovery and monitor license usage of software and optimize cost savings.
