Threats – Inability to comprehensively aggregate license and entitlement position for all enterprise applications.In today’s business world, much communication happens quickly via email and other means. Often the people engaged in discussion do not know one another and have different expectations on how a task or problem should be handled. This frequently includes a different understanding of what a final result should look like. In these cases, having a good understanding of goals and direction is helpful. Engaging in regular review meetings and working sessions helps to prevent large miscommunications as most misunderstandings can be realigned in a reasonable timeframe.
Don’t surround yourself with sycophants. Find colleagues who challenge perceptions and champion innovation and improvements in efficiency. Give staff a place to feel safe to discuss difficult topics and encourage them to discover solutions independently. Leaders should have a clear direction and try to remove obstacles for subordinates. Be open and honest in approaches and communicate issues in a timely manner.
As others have said, another form of communication is nonverbal communication. This can include body language and facial reactions.
