The process typically begins with a formal letter announcing the audit. After that, we discuss the scope, key dates, and the overall timeline with the vendor. Internally, we coordinate with our legal team to ensure our responses are accurate and compliant.
During the audit itself, I was part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team, responsible for validating that all responses contained only the necessary information—no more, no less. Our goal was to ensure transparency while protecting sensitive or irrelevant data. Once the audit concluded, we received the final results and reviewed them with the relevant stakeholders.
The laptops are leased, so the leasing provider tags them. We track the laptops by their serial numbers.
I´ve collaborated with some cost-saving opportunities and compliance requirements doing some analysis to the Licenses, nevertheless I´m not involved in my organization´s finances
