ParticipantOur mission is currently focused on optimising our assets throughout their lifecycle, whilst wanting to obtain the best utilisation of the assets and minimise costs. The program is to be aligned to our digital and organisations strategy and goals. Our assets will be tagged and shall be monitored during the lifecycle.

ParticipantIn our ogranisation, everyone is a customer of ITAM. In that, all of our organisational members use at least one IT Asset during their time of employment, or studies. Even our guest visitors, become a customer of ITAM, because we provide a guest IT Account to access our WIFI, and use our IT facilities.

ParticipantTo my knowledge, our organisation has not been audited.

ParticipantAt this current time, our IT Assets are not tagged. That is due to our organisation not having a managed system in situ, or the relevant personnel in place to oversee IT Asset Management. However, this is currently undergoing a major change, with a new Asset Manager (me), and the introduction of an IT Asset Management system.
