March 13, 2025 at 2:17 pm in reply to: What software savings do you expect to uncover with your ITAM program? #69566
Valerie Runci
ParticipantI would expect to uncover savings by economies of scale. Instead of individuals buying one license, we could group the purchases across the organization and purchase at a group rate or enterprise level. Getting auto renewals or late payments under control will help with waste. Holding vendors accountable to agreements will also increase savings and eliminate waste.

ParticipantWe would do well on most. We would score lower on procuring assets because of non-adherence to purchasing products. We do well on what is brought in through the proper channels, but have no way of controlling what is rouge purchasing outside of the policy.
