Opportunities – CDW is considering offering ITAM as a Service – getting involved with that could give me practitioner experience to round out my knowledge for consulting purposes

Strong asset tagging system in place along with upgraded asset inventory databases
Departmental processes already in place from Procurement to disposal
Weakness: No communication between the licensing capturing and the asset inventory databases
Opportunities: To join the two databases into one with the update

Weakness: Staff streached too thin and thus records are not kept in a time fashion or not at all.
Opportunities: We are reseting our inventory system and now is the time to get it right.
