We are less focused on software at the moment, but eventually we may be able to consolidate license usage. The primary software benefit though will be through reducing redundant programs and providing a standard software package that is more easily supported and by leveraging the number of users to provide additional services.

Students? Possibly – they operate largely on a BYOD system but still utilize IT assets in their studies.
Those are the foundation because they layout the objectives and guiding principles and relay that information to necessary parties. Other KPAs support those concepts.

Our ITAM program is still fairly new but is growing. The standards are largely present, but responsibility is and documentation needs to catch up.
Some contain barcodes or RFID tags, but all contain information on how to contact support, information regarding ownership, and the device name (as applied during imaging according to naming convention).
I get a fair bit of high level information and some regarding specific areas, but the details are hit or miss.
