Strengths – Bringing people together to accomplish initiatives.
Weaknesses – I’m new to my current role, so a weakness would be that I haven’t had the opportunity to connect with the right people yet.
Opportunity – Create connections and build relationships through the advancement of organizational ITAM knowledge and support.
Threat – Program development engagement.Strength – We have the right people dedicated to supporting the maturity level of our program.
Weakness – At this stage each department essentially has their own ITAM program processes and procedures. It will take energy to get everyone engaged and involved at an enterprise level.
Opportunity – We have a great opportunity to connect the organization through our newly founded community of practice group.
Threat – People becoming overwhelmed with the change in their current ITAM program and not adopting or implementing the enterprise best practices and policies.A miscommunication happened during a strategic meeting launch. After reading the audience, I could identify from body language that there wasn’t a universal understanding of the path forward. I re-communicated the information in a different style and opened the floor for a question-and-answer session.

The Acquisition Manager monitors requests coming in and acts as a gatekeeper by weighing the request with policy and standards to determine if the product or asset will be purchased. They are involved in multiple areas of the ITAM program.
We are currently organizing an ITAM community of practice, we are going to present to multiple stakeholders on the topic of job titles.
