we anticipate cutting down manual labor and with that minimizing risks. We want to have an efficient ITAM program set in place to have full visibility into our assets and then we will also be able to have a better understanding of possible savings.
creating policies and processes for SAM because as of right now it is managed by an individual. eventually we would like to have set all ITAM best practices. Automation is also very important.
I am still learning from my mentor who has a vast knowledge on this. We attended some events networking with other individuals in the profession.
I think it would rate high for most of the KPAs. We still need improvement regarding implementing policies and processes.
I plan on educating my self on ITAM best practices and implementing them. I will continuously keep learning.
The organization I work for has some good ITAM practices implemented. We are in the process of making some improvements.
