I think our company would do well on some of the KPAs. Areas I feel we would do poorly on is financial and disposal management. There is no cost payback process when users lose equipment.

We don’t have any standards, but we are currently in the process of getting our teams certified and trained in IAITAM processes.
I’ve experienced an external audit from Quest TOAD. We worked closely with our commercial team and provided our software inventory and license position report to Quest. Finally, the auditors compiled their findings into a report, which included an assessment of compliance.
For hardware assets, our IT department assigns an asset number to each device. For software assets, the software asset management team assigns asset tags to each entitlement record.
I worked in Finance before as a FP&A, where I was involved in reviewing P&L for actual results, as well as forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the business units.
