The Acquisition Manager makes sure that all the procurement activities are aligned with the companies goals, policies and compliance requirements. They are controlling and overseeing the flow of the assets into the organization to help optimize costs and minimize risks.
I broke it down to them in a clear email that explained what each role was responsible for and how that tied into the overall program management.
I don’t know that we managed anything other than less than 10 cellphones. So this area may not be much savings for us but we will explore.

I would stick with those. I’ve worked in corporate long enough to know that no matter how good of a program you run if you don’t have policies to enforce the necessary controls then things will go sideways. Similarly that if you aren’t communicating and educating your end users they won’t run things properly.
