All individuals play a part in ITAM. They need to follow processes to ensure that we have all purchases, data and product locations in a centralized location.

I am certified in many of the IAITAM certifications. I am not sure why I never took CAMP.

None that I can think of. The 12 covers a big area within organizations.

Oh yea. I worked with our audit team, (Legal, Procurement and the technical teams), to fulfill the vendor audit requirements. All correspondence comes through a centralized team, Asset Management.

We don’t use assets tags. Our unique identifier is the asset serial number.

I assist with user reports and send to my Finance business partner. They allocate costs to the different cost centers for budgeting purposes. I also pay invoices for the purchase requests that I submit. Mainly for Microsoft purchases. The budget/service owner’s are responsible for submitting their own PRs with my assistance on renewal requirements.

Automation, implementation of AI and streamlined processes. We have agents that discover assets across out network and report back on asset data.
