We have a number of different tools available, including TRIM, Records Manager, SharePoint, Teams and other specialist tools depending on the content and requirements.

Effective communication is critical at all times. However, communication of a message or requirement does not always result in changes to culture, process, and procedure.

Education helps stakeholders understand the ‘Why’, and this often results in long term benefits and changes that communication does not.

Loss of control of desired/required outcomes.
Unplanned legal and commercial impacts to the business, including failure to comply with statutory obligations or financial penalties as a result of a vendor audit.
Disruption to business activities and processes if assets are unavailable or unable to be located.

Be consistent. Be accountable. Be respectful. Listen to different points of view. Recognise the ideas, contributions, and achievements of others. Understand it is not necessary to be an expert in everything to be an effective leader.

Maximising use of the asset during its productive life, avoiding early disposal, harvesting useable components for re-deployment to extend the life of other assets, and ensuring proper disposal and recycling of physical components/materials.

Savings through SAM operations activities (request management, renewal management, offboarding/LDOD reclamation, non-usage reclamation, etc) varies from 5-20% per annum. Financial benefits from SAM involvement in internal audits/audit readiness, change management, project management and other compliance and optimisation activities can have a far greater impact on cost avoidance.

Process and service delivery automation through bots, ML, and AI technologies to deliver operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction (especially in reduction of time to serve/deliver, and improvement in consistency and accuracy of service delivery).
