Mostly in software compliance. Would also submit that there is a cost of avoidance that I expect to achieve as well (i.e. if we do nothing, software will cost ‘x’)

Roles and responsibilities are also fully defined based on the lifecycle phase of the IT asset.

Each of the 12 KPA have formal process and activities. RACI exists and each KPA is monitored, governed and enforced. Each KAP also regularly audited, tested and assessed.

I have authored policies, standards, controls, procedures and support documentation. I have built and refined ITAM processes, all of which I openly share with the ITAM community. My experiences and expertise has allowed me to contribute to the evolution and maturation of emerging ITAM concepts (i.e. Cloud assets, AI embedded in IT assets, management of virtual assets;)
In addition, I was able to network with industry peers at the 2024 ACE conference. I was able to share my knowledge and experience while having two way conversations and being able to have some healthy industry discussions.

My organization has a process, a team and a playbook. Multiple stakeholders including Finance, Legal, ITAM, have defined roles and responsibilities. Audit was successfully managed.
Patrick PateParticipantWe have unique identifiers that provide us with specific IT asset information. These also include bar codes that will have relationships to the IT asset inventory.

My ITAM program has two way communications with Finance and Sourcing. We share information, insights and budgets. Financial information is part of our processes.
