Our organization had been trying to go paperless, but shortly after I arrived I saw that there were multiple needs to have actual paperwork go with the physical assets out the door. Having signed, physical paper copies has saved many a headache for us.

I am responsible for receiving, distributing and taking inventory of hardware, hardware disposal, and I am frequently involved in the ordering process as well. Financial aspects are handled by upper-level management, and software is mostly handled by other members of our team.
