IT Acquisition Process Area is the Gatekeeper for policies, standards, and lifecycle processes. It is the gateway for asset management and empowers the rest of the ITAM program
It is based on the ITAM program and the roles and responsibilities of individuals over IT assets at various stages of the IT asset lifecycle.
Titles and roles are different. Most individuals at my org have titles with multiple roles. It is not 1 to 1.
Mobile savings may be limited to cost of avoidance through IT asset recovery processes. Mature process to recover mobile devices after employee is no longer working with the company can reduce costs.
